Application Categories


Whether you are purchasing a home on your own or with a co-borrower, you may qualify for a PAG-IBIG Housing Loan if you belong to any of the following categories:

  • Single Applicants - Individuals with sufficient income and active PAG-IBIG membership who meet the loan requirements.
  • Married Couples - Spouses may apply jointly, allowing their combined income to be considered during loan evaluation.
  • Joint Borrowers / Partnerships - Qualified family members within the degree of consanguinity allowed by PAG-IBIG may combine their income to increase their loan eligibility, subject to PAG-IBIG Fund guidelines.
  • Locally Employed Individuals - Employees working in private companies or government agencies with regular income and active PAG-IBIG contributions.
  • OFWs and Seafarers - Filipinos working abroad with proof of employment and a stable source of income.
  • Self-Employed Individuals and Freelancers - Business owners, virtual assistants, online sellers, freelancers, and licensed professionals with verifiable income documents.

General Eligibility Requirements:


- Active PAG-IBIG Membership.
- At least 24 monthly Pag-IBIG contributions.
- No defaulted PAG-IBIG housing, multi-purpose, or calamity loans.
- Not more than 65 years old at the time of loan maturity.
